For as long as I can remember.... I have wanted to write and illustrate a children's book. Sadly... with each passing year, I obsessed over the details... wanting to create the perfect book from the perfect idea.
Just recently, I have come to the realization that there is not a perfect book idea for me; it's all relative.
Ironically, constantly mulling over several scenarios only brings me to another year; with more time to obsess over even more details... and the book that has not been written or illustrated.
Sunshine and Smiles...TCards' Facebook Fan Page Posts - (Volume 1) is simply a compilation of Illustrations and stories/thoughts that have been posted on TCards' Facebook Fan Page.
Most of my illustrations are based on everyday life (as I see it). Some illustrations are conceived from feelings found on the highest mountain top; some are felt from the lowest valleys in life. I design whatever speaks to me during the day (or night). Some of these illustrations get many "likes" ... some get "comments" ... some sit idle without movement; yet I know they have been seen and they resonate with someone. Sometimes the posts are meant for me. A reminder. Life is good. Life is hard. Life... is.

I totally loved this book!! I found myself wanting to hit the "like" key on every page! There were illustrations that made me smile and some that made me think "WOW how creative". Clever and very joyful to look at. This book is unique and has colorful characters with a expressive message. Would recommend this book to all ages.
Witty and fun, made me smile!
As a designer, I really enjoyed this book. It wasn't a long read and it does a great (& creative) job of displaying Facebook posts. Let me know when the next version is ready (Maybe a summer version) )
